Five times when Salah is prohibited (Haram)

  1. Just before sunrise until the sun rises to the length of one spear (approximately a short while after sunrise).
  2. After Fajr prayer until the sun rises fully.
  3. When the sun is at its zenith (Noon)—at the highest point in the sky.
  4. After Asar prayer until the sun sets completely.
  5. From the time the sun becomes pale and starts setting until it is completely set.
